Nice Outfit

Yesterday on Greedy Girl, Caroline reminded me of the shop Bona Drag.  It had escaped from my radar, and I was pleased to visit it’s spirited collection of fashions.  Adoring these cut aways.

Oh, and did you know the term “Bona Drag” means “nice outfit” in Polari?
What’s Polari you ask?
It was a secrect language used by the gay culture in London in the 1960’s.
Don’t ever say you never learned anything on LLL.  And here are a few pretties for all my fellow asymmetrical lovers out there.

Easter Chic

I’m not hosting Easter this year, but if I were I would like to think that the table would be a mix of these two looks.

But who am I kidding, I’d be lucky to get a tablecloth down.  I’d also find the time to whip up these glitter confetti Easter eggs (aka caskarones – mini pinatas for your head) to shower over all of my guests for good luck.  Right, I’d get to that too… no problem.

Pretty Smitten… Still!

My girl Elizabeth over at Pretty Smitten Shop has been staying very busy.  No surprise…

Because her stuff rocks!

SO thrilled to see she’s now carrying striped straws.  Who doesn’t love a striped straw?!  And for $4 per pack of 25, it’s a no brainer.  She has loads of color options too.

Oh, and she added cupcake wrappers, twine, and treat bag toppers to her store as well!

BLOGFEST 2011

Happy Monday!  Did ya’ll have a nice weekend?  I sure did – one of my best girlfriends got married- the wedding was beautiful.  The weather all weekend was fabulous, AND my husband finally came home from 9 days in Boulder, CO!  Woohoo!!

I’m also on cloud nine because… wait for it…. I’m going to BLOGFEST in NYC in May!!  Yippieeee.

I’m pinching myself to have been invited, there are so many people on the waitlist.  And I’m beyond thrilled to get to spend a few days with some of my most favorite blogging buddies as we are entertained at events and parties hosted by Kravet & Lee Jofa, Elle Decor, Town & Country, House Beautiful, Architectural Digest, Veranda, Traditional Home, and New York Spaces. 
Maybe you’re thinking, “But Chassity, why are you going?  You’re not an interior designer.” Yeah, well I don’t ask questions, I just GO! I think ya’ll know this about me by now…

I’m Back!

If you’re a fan of the Look Linger Love Facebook Page then you probably saw this picture that I shared and knew I was in Boulder, CO this last week.  And like I said on the page, I did shop my way through the town, Denver too.  It was really such a nice little getaway (thanks to amazing in-laws who took good care of Lilly in our absense!).  My husband was out there for work so I popped over for just a few nights to join him.  And since I was traveling alone I got to read a couple of good books on the plane (bliss).  During the visit we had some great dinners {at The Kitchen and Salt} with old friends that I just don’t get to see enough.

Unfortunately that’s the only picture I have and didn’t get one the night out with our other friends.  But I can share some of the goodies I bought.  Just a few, I hate to bore ya’ll on a weekend ;)

I see myself wearing each of these pieces A LOT in the months to come.
