My dear friend Gaby has stolen my heart with her brand new floral photo series. I knew that she was a talented photographer, but she really blew me away with these images. I want to plaster a whole wall with them. I definitely need an “e” in blue violets.

At first glance I wondered why she chose black as the background. I quickly realized it’s because she’s genius. The bright flowers just pop off the page, don’t you think? I love seeing them presented in this way. Go check out the rest of Gaby’s floral series in her shop.

Want more awesome art? I freaking love these snake prints by Sarah B. Martinez that are new at Furbish. I mean. This picture makes me want to replicate this whole look on my wall. Which one is your favorite?

My friend Christine’s baby Jasper’s nursery was just featured in Style at Home magazine. Absolutely divine is all I have to say. Just lovely, Christine. So happy for you – beautiful family and a beautiful home.

My numero uno blogger crush Nicole Warne (aka Gary Pepper) just made me fall in love with this triangle shift dress. It’s only $68 but do I dare even attempt it after seeing her rock it so well? She’s simply perfection.

Lastly, I’m looking for an awesome wordpress user that can tell me the best way to control spam. I’m getting hit up the wazoo over here and am wondering what works best without spending a fortune every month??

These Otte wink harem pants are my new obsession. Comfy, funky, and cute. I got a lot of compliments on them when I wore them around town last week. Even some men – which completely surprised me b/c let’s be honest – they’re fucking harem pants and not a mini skirt. But I think it’s because they stand out. These pants pretty much exclaim to the world that I’m comfortable in my skin.

My Chanel rolled handle clutch has been a long time favorite of mine. I carry it with so many outfits. Did you know that you can shop gently used Chanels here at Portero? Has anyone shopped with them before? I haven’t yet, but it seems like a great way to pick up favorite designer items that are no longer available. But back to my clutch, if you’re not feeling so spendy, I think this Marie Turner Clutch is a damn good look for less.

There you have it. This is what I’m wearing around Charleston lately. If you want a blousy butt, too, then shop Otte’s Harem pants here.

While browsing Boden’s latest catalog this morning I was enlightened. They’re a sleeper brand, don’t you think? Love these new fall looks. Fit to flatter shapes and pretty design.

Five things today for Friday…

I’m really digging my Otte eyelash print harem pants. Really digging. Here’s the preview Gray sent me from our photoshoot two nights ago. A full “What I’m Wearing” post coming next week.

And speaking of Gray, this ruched tank dress that I helped her find was a big favorite for good reason – it’s gorgeous and well priced. Well it’s now available in a long sleeve version for the upcoming cooler months. Love that!

Remember my Cole Haan heels I got from Heery’s? They sold out, but they are 40% off at Nordstrom right now.

I just discovered this amazing floral lace dress on Keep, it’s only $86 for crying out loud. Isn’t it incredible?

And on the floral note, my girl Lulie Wallace’s new Flowers For 2014 calendar for Anthro. You can bet this will be up at my house. Has there ever been a more perfect calendar?

Have y’all discovered Schutz shoes? They are currently at the top of my shoe wishlist. They’re clearly at the top of a lot of other girls’ lists, too.
