Is your holiday calendar filling up? The busiest season of the year is upon us and I’m excited to partner with francesca’s to share some ideas to help make the holiday craziness a little bit easier on you!

Let’s start with the parties (my favorite part)! I can’t help but want to treat myself to a few new outfit updates for all the activities, and francesca’s has a great selection for head to toe holiday outfitting. I love this ruffle wrap dress – it’s classic but still flirty and fun!

And I love the blue color of this dress paired with these light grey drop earrings. This outfit can be dressed up or down, but since I’m on the shorter side I tend to go for a little more height for a party. These classic metallic heels are feminine and versatile.

While browsing francesca’s new arrivals I stumbled up this adorable “He See’s You When You’re Sneaking” cookie jar. My kids are SO excited about this.

And you guys… this is so funny that I have to share. While taking this picture Gray says “I’ve been singing the song wrong all these years. I thought it was really creepy that Santa saw you sleeping.” Um…. ha!

Our favorite Black Friday sale is beginning early this year, and by early I mean it’s LIVE NOW! Spend More Save More at Shopbop is officially happening right now :)

Clearly you all know I have SO MANY favorites. How great would that light grey knit blazer be to just throw on with jeans?! And that grey tunic sweater with the tie sleeves is so easy and cute, too. I really want that black and white stripe sweater – just love the sheer v-neck detail. And I have that black maxi dress in pink and get so many compliments on it when I wear it. It’s super comfortable and even more flattering.

It’s Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker season here at our house. Okay, so it’s always Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker season at my house but with fall here it’s like officially Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker season :) And I’m super excited to partner with the brand to share my Cinnamon Apples recipe!

This recipe is actually an adaptation of my grandmother’s Cinnamon Apples recipe that she makes on her stovetop. But being the busy (lazy?) mom that I am I thought it might be easier to make these cinnamon apples in the Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker… overnight… so that my family can wake up to the most amazing smell of their lives.

I’m using my new Crock-Pot® Swing & Serve™ Slow Cooker. I love it because it cooks three dishes at the same time without cluttering your counter! The two 1.5 quart slow cookers on the top swing out for easy serving and entertaining. It’s great for different appetizers or multi course meals, but today we used it for our different cinnamon apple variations (a great feature to have with kids). The large, lower slow cooker has the original apple recipe. We added raisins to the upper left slow cooker, and the upper right slow cooker is butter free.

Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker CINNAMON APPLES RECIPE:

10 braeburn apples (peeled and sliced)

3/4 cup brown sugar

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Combine all ingredients together in the Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker & stir to coat the apples.

Cook on low for 4 hours. Enjoy.

There are so many ways you can enjoy these cinnamon apples: all on their own, over oatmeal, as a donut topping, in a pie, blended into an applesauce… Here, we put them over waffles:

Topped with granola:

And as an ice cream topping:

I’ve always used my Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker for dinners, so using it overnight for a breakfast dish was a new, out of the box way for me. I’m a big fan. Happy cooking!
