I’m so excited to share today’s post! I’ve partnered again with the award winning* Pinnacle® Vodka team to share some fall tablescape inspiration to make this season’s entertaining easy and fun!

 

 

Inviting friends into your home is one of the best ways to say “hey, I really like you and value your friendship”. I think we should be doing more of this (myself included), and this time of year is one of the best times to make a plan to do it!

 

 

I believe that the prep that goes behind throwing a dinner party should be as fun as the dinner party itself. Remember, the guests are thrilled just to be there spending time with you, not judging the space. With this in mind, use what you have on hand and have fun with it. Embrace an eclectic mix of dishes (I think it’s more interesting this way). Don’t worry about the rules. For example, I forewent the traditional rocks glass that my vodka gimlet calls for and instead used these fun hot toddy style glasses. No need to stress the details.

 

 

My number one tip is to always greet your guests with a cocktail ready to offer! Two of my favorite Pinnacle® Vodka cocktail recipes are this The Giving Gimlet and this Winter White Sipper!

For the table centerpiece I swung by our nearby Trader Joes and picked up some eucalyptus and roses! So easy and much more affordable than going by a flower shop. I also added battery operated twinkly lights for sparkle as well as some candlelight. For an unexpected twist place your tea lights in unconventional containers that are special to you. I used my favorite espresso serving set cups as my candle holders here.

 

 

Create a playlist that fits the mood you want to set. The host of a dinner party I recently attended even made copies of the evening’s playlist for each guest to take home – such a neat idea!

 

 

Vodka Gimlet Recipe

1 1/2 parts Pinnacle® Original Vodka

1/2 part Lime Juice

1 part Simple Syrup

Lime Wheel

 

Preparation: Shake with ice and then strain over fresh ice in a hot toddy or rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.

 

 

Classic Lemon Drop Recipe

1 1/2 parts DeKuyper Triple Sec Liqueur

1/2 parts Pinnacle® Original Vodka

1/2 part Lemon Juice

1 Sugar Cube

Lemon Wheel or Twist for garnish (optional)

 

Preparation: Combine ingredients into an ice-filled shaker. Shake until sugar is dissolved, then strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel or twist (optional).
