It’s Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker season here at our house. Okay, so it’s always Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker season at my house but with fall here it’s like officially Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker season :) And I’m super excited to partner with the brand to share my Cinnamon Apples recipe!

This recipe is actually an adaptation of my grandmother’s Cinnamon Apples recipe that she makes on her stovetop. But being the busy (lazy?) mom that I am I thought it might be easier to make these cinnamon apples in the Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker… overnight… so that my family can wake up to the most amazing smell of their lives.

I’m using my new Crock-Pot® Swing & Serve™ Slow Cooker. I love it because it cooks three dishes at the same time without cluttering your counter! The two 1.5 quart slow cookers on the top swing out for easy serving and entertaining. It’s great for different appetizers or multi course meals, but today we used it for our different cinnamon apple variations (a great feature to have with kids). The large, lower slow cooker has the original apple recipe. We added raisins to the upper left slow cooker, and the upper right slow cooker is butter free.

Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker CINNAMON APPLES RECIPE:

10 braeburn apples (peeled and sliced)

3/4 cup brown sugar

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Combine all ingredients together in the Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker & stir to coat the apples.

Cook on low for 4 hours. Enjoy.

There are so many ways you can enjoy these cinnamon apples: all on their own, over oatmeal, as a donut topping, in a pie, blended into an applesauce… Here, we put them over waffles:

Topped with granola:

And as an ice cream topping:

I’ve always used my Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker for dinners, so using it overnight for a breakfast dish was a new, out of the box way for me. I’m a big fan. Happy cooking!
