“Since the early, early days of Garden & Gun we have been in awe of the wealth of talent at home in Southern culture, from shop owners and restauranteurs to designers and artisans who continue to inspire us in the Southern style, food, and sporting world. And JUBILEE (now in its second year) is the ultimate platform for bringing all of that talent that we, as editors, have researched and written about to life.”

This December 5 -7, Southerners will gather at the historic state park Charles Towne Landing here in Charleston, SC for a fun mix of shopping, food, music, and entertainment. JUBILEE 2014 will basically be celebrating the best of Garden & Gun all in one place. The designers, artisans, artists, and craftsmen who will be setting up mini shops in the JUBILEE marketplace will provide for some incredible holiday shopping opportunities. A few of the talents I’m most looking forward to seeing there…

Laura Vinroot Poole – Laura will be curating a few of her favorite things from both of her renowned boutiques based in Charlotte, NC – Capital and Poole Shop.

Jane Scott Hodges – The founder of Leontine Linens will be showcasing her fine lines as part of the Meet the Makers Trunk Shows, giving consultations, and taking custom orders.

Ledbury – Co founder Paul Trible will be on hand to offer recommendations from the luxury men’s shirtmaker collection.

There are so many more personalities and participants who will be there and you can check out the Who’s Who JUBILEE page to read about them all. And be sure to also click over to the Schedule Page to see a detailed view of all the happenings, like an Oyster Roast, a Dog Training Experience, a Field Feast Dinner, and even a Johnny Swim Lawn Concert throughout the weekend.
