So I surprised myself when I found as much Missoni greatness for Target as I did this morning. I’ve seen so much about the collaboration the past few months that I’m nearly sick of it. Nevertheless I’m not one to miss a good shopping trip, so Lilly and I showed up at Target at 8:50 thinking we’d be there in plenty of time. Not the case, apparently women had been lined up at the door waiting for it to open at 8. I’ve never seen so many young ladies swarming Target at once. Was quite the party I must say, everyone was chatting it up with eachother.
There was still a decent assortment of Missoni left to peruse. Lilly was really the one who made out on this trip, which was what I expected anyway. I wish I could see the entire collection in person because I know that my Target didn’t have nearlly all of it.
Like I said above, Lilly was the real winner this trip. I adore the sweater dress and leggings. And the ballet flats and rainboots may be my favorite. I got the little boxes (+ one larger one that isn’t pictured) for Lilly’s and baby boy’s closets. And then I snagged the vase and coffee mug for myself. I don’t think I did too bad.
Did you stop by Target today? What did you pick up? I would have loved to have seen the bike!
Chassity, I’m with you…I thought I was over it…too much hype…but the fact that Target was wiped out and I COULDN’T HAVE IT made me want it. Completely reminds me of my dating days…
call me CRAZY…but im so not into this Missoni for Target thing. I dont like it at all…well, maybe there was one item, a throw i think!!

Loving your purchases! I had ordered from of the blue chevron boxes (among other things) and unfortunately my ordered was canceled I am a bit jealous, :)

I picked up the same dress! I so wish I had a daughter, wait maybe not, because I would have been in even more trouble. Their girl stuff is just too adorable!
Luckily at 1030 my Target still had a bit left, mostly in clothing. Housewares was cometely gone. One lady had two carts full and a Target employee pushing one around directing her around to all the different departments. Crazy!!! I bought the flats, a cardigan,dress, and mugs for me and skirt, socks, and tunic for my little girl.

Only a few toddler items which I don’t think they would look appropriate on Matthew ;)
As for the women’s collection, there was only 2 bags left and a carry-on. So went home with my hands empty! :(

I live in Pasadena ca and the people at target told me everyone was lining up at 3am, yup 3am. i did not see one single item from collection because the displays were completely empty. i hope they restock soon!
I’ve been itching to get to Target all day! Sadly, the office beckoned me. Which location did you visit …West Ashley or Mt. P? I’m wondering which one might have a better selection left over!
I didn’t even attempt to go to Target this morning. One of my friends did and she said it was crazy!! Women were just grabbing stuff of the shelves and filling their baskets, apparently not much was left after only a short time. Some women had brought their husbands to help push multiple baskets for them. Like I said CRAZY! There are a few items I’ve been drooling over, so hopefully I can get my hands on some of them soon. You did great with your loot!!! Lily is going to be adorable.
I went this morning also and my Target was picked over! I got a black sweater dress and a tray. I really wanted some shoes for myslef but only size 5’s left! I am sure they will replenish.
Love what you got girl…it was insanity here, too…I got to my Target at 8am and they didn’t have all of it out yet!!! I was ticked! I had to leave and get stuff done and by the time I got back, it was completely picked over )c: Good thing I snagged my cereal bowls and mugs the first time around! So crazy!
I went after teaching at 12:30 and a lot was gone but still a good assortment (It’s out in the suburbs so maybe that made a difference). For my 3-year-old I bought the pleated skirt and a cardigan. The undergarments/pajamas were cute. So much fun!

You did well and found great things! Can you believe I got to my Target at 8:30 and everything was gone! I have been wanting the throw and thought I was doing well by getting there 1/2 hour after they opened. Glad you were able to get some items. Your daughter will look adorable!
I had completely forgotten about the launch until I pulled up to Target at 9:20 this morning to pick up a prescription. Everything for women was picked over, as were most housewares. There was a decent selection for kids, but I walked away empty-handed. Love what you got, though!

Sooo wishing I bought more. I got just one sweater cardigan and some lowball acrylic glasses. The lady in front of me rang up $2400 worth goods- strictly Missoni. Have you checked out how much people are selling this stuff on ebay? It is crazy!

“My” Target was wiped out! A few rain boots and odds and ends in various departments. I managed to get a scarf in the girls’ department and some file folders in stationery, but that was it. I was really hoping for the flats, so cute!

Didn’t even attempt it! The line is nice, but after seeing it EVERYWHERE for weeks on end I am so over it. I feel the same way about them bringing Christmas items out in July!
