I was recently turned on to avocado toast. And frankly, there’s no turning back now.  It’s that good.  I’ve always struggled with breakfast.  I much prefer a slice of pizza over eggs anyday.  And after so many consecutive days, everything bagels get (gasp!) boring.  This avocado toast recipe posted by Lisa from With Style & Grace is where it’s at.  Trust me.

Lilly even likes it too.  But she’s much more into her cinammon toast, bananas, and greek yogurt.
And speaking of bananas… did you see this adorable Harry Allen designed banana bowl that Margaret over at Accessories Please shared this week? I really want this.

Because our bananas are always just laying around on our counter… it’s bananas….

I’m so with you on the breakfast bit. I’ve been known to have hot dogs for breakfast. And speaking of avocado on toast, that’s what I had for breakfast today. Swear. Avocado and cream cheese on sourdough wheat.

  3. I’m obsessed with avocado these days.

  4. The minute I’m allowed to eat bread again, I’m doing this!

One of my favs has always been hummus on whole grain toast. Sometime I get crazy and add a slice of swiss cheese on top. It’s delic!

try it with a squeeze of lemon. i actually like just half an avocado, squeezed with lemon and sea salt. sooooooooo good.

also, if you like mayo… it’s good that way too. the heat of the toast brings out the oils in the mayo (some what like in a blt…) i have a slight love affair with both mayo and avocados… =)
