So I’ve picked up my running lately. And by running I mean non-aggresive jogging.

That’s not me, but she looks nice don’t you think? I run anywhere from 4-6 miles twice a week. Definitely not marathon status but I feel really good about it. What keeps me going is comfortable and supportive running shoes and rap music. Here’s an example of my playlist…

Eminem: Lose Yourself

Estelle & Kanye: American Boy

Macklemore: Can’t Hold Us

Macklemore: Thrift Shop

Taylor Swift: Style

Eminem: Without Me

Kanye West: Stronger

Wyclef Jean: Stayin’ Alive

I could listen to Lose Yourself on repeat though, and sometimes do. As far as running shoe brands I like Brooks and Adidas the best. Both have great reputations for foot support. I need it for my achilles.  Here are a few pretty pairs.

Those Stella McCartney for Adidas pairs are amazing, don’t you think?

Hey if you have more song suggestions please leave a comment!! Thanks.

I thought of you today as I listened to it :)

  4. I’m always looking for new songs to add to my playlist! I’ve been listening to Ellie Goulding’s Love me Like You Do on repeat at the gym. It’s a surprisingly great song to workout to.

NeedtoBreathe’s “Feet don’t fail me now” – great running rhythm and the words make sense (I also feel like I’m in a chase scene). It’s not rap but it’s definitely good for a run!

  6. I like your style. Macklemore’s Thrift Shop is totally my gym jam, too. :)
