My mind feels a little fried from the weekend. I think I needed an extra day tacked on the end just to get organized. While I do that, here are a few things.

My artist friend Teil Duncan just finished up these gorgeous little nude paintings. I love them. A lot. They’re 6″x8″ wood panels and just delightful. She’s selling them for $125 each. Contact her for purchase if you like.

Has anyone tried a NuBra before? I’m tempted to give it a shot. Would love to hear your experiences.
Seems like it would wear nicely under this dress, yes?
And I think this is the prettiest and coolest skirt. Would punch up so many outfits.
I loved reading Southern Living’s Secrets to Southern Charm. Here’s one of my favorites that I could certainly learn from.
Hope your Monday is off to a great start :)

Nubra is a lifesaver for backless dresses! In the summer they can be kind of tricky since they tend to not stick as well. Can’t get enough of that skirt- it’s gorg!

  4. Love those nude paintings, like for real I want one or 3! Ok so I have a nubra and don’t love it. It works ok for the purpose but feels weird to me and I feel like it makes my boobs look weird too- but everyone else seems to love it.

I have a NuBra and love it…when I need it. And that dress is so adorable. It’s perfect for spring! I have been dying over that Tibi skirt.

Love my NuBra!!! get you one girl!

  7. Shelby says:

NuBras are great the first few wears, but mine always lost their stickiness – and then it falls off while you’re out! Not the best situation!

I am intrigued by the Nubra–it seems to be perfect for all of the backless/cutout dresses for spring and summer–like that adorable floral number! I may have to give it a try!

I adore the Southern Living Secrets to Southern Charm–how perfect! :)

  9. Love the paintings, never tried the Nubra, I may have to get one thought.

I loved that Southern Living piece and have saved it for the girls. Its the little things that end up being a big thing sometimes. Although, I like seeing women in hats and gloves on Sunday ;) Happy you posted!

  11. So the Nubra and I have been besties for years. Seriously started wearing them towards the end of college and hardly ever wear other strapless bras since. Girl you know I got a little something something to hold up and I don’t want any extra padding especially when wearing something that needs a strapless bra. I used to buy them at stein mart for like $30 or $40. GO GET ONE.

And second, that artist does beautiful work. I love this series!

  12. I’ve never worn a nubra, I wonder if it really really stays where it should. That skirt = amazing!

  14. Nubra is great when you need it, but its definitely not something I’d wear if I didn’t have to. Also, I am totally in love and obsessed with that dress. Why is it so expensive???

  15. NuBra is the best! Mine usually last a year, as long as you wash them in the sink with soap and water after each use. I just wore mine on Saturday night with my lace back dress!
