What’s this? Two posts in one day? You know this must be good then…

And when I say I love Saturday, I’m not talking about the day of the week. I’m talking about Kate Spade’s long awaited new company, Saturday. It’s so unbelievably good, y’all.

The prices are decent for sure compared to their mother brand. And if you like a print or pattern then you’re in luck b/c there is likely a skirt, dress, top, short, and bag all made in that print too (matching top and short combo anyone?). Likewise, if you fancy a particular dress, or top or whatever, then you can buy a bunch b/c it’s likely offered in a ton of different colors. I like brands like this. Just makes shopping and dressing sooo easy.

If you’re a shopping addict then the dresses below are like a dream come true. Two-fer anyone?? Yes, the skirt is detachable!! Oh the possibilities and many color options.
And I’m mildly obsessed with the long shirttail dress below. I could live in those.

Welp, Kate Spade does it again! So go on and get exploring Saturday’s entire collection.

And heads up to my local Charleston readers – I’m co-hosting another event with Kate Spade New York on May 11th in honor of Mother’s Day. More details to come but go ahead and mark it in your calendar! Will be such fun. Remember the last one?

So Dallas was pretty much amazing. First of all I had no idea that it is as pretty as it is!! But what really made it so great was hanging out with so many of my wonderful and inspiring blog girlfriends. We spend so much of our time online that’s is just indescribable to get to spend quality face to face time with these girls. Alex, Liz, Julia, Hanna, Molly & Sally, Bradley, Gaby, Jamie, Amber (who is my long lost momma soul mate), Mackenzie, Elizabeth, Albertina, and Carly (whew!) were my homegirls all weekend long. I could really go on and on.

Here’s a pic of me and my roomies Alex and Liz. Pattern overload. I’m wearing this floral top and Rebecca Taylor polka dot shorts.

I’m so thankful that Rewardstyle brought us all together. And as you can imagine with the group of fashion bloggers like we had, the people watching was pretty great. Here are a few things I saw…
Like I said, it was great people watching. Happy Tuesday!

I’m so excited to finally share the images of the ladies pot luck luncheon that I hosted on my front porch  a few weeks back.

So when I was brainstorming fun ways to share the space that I created for the Home Depot blogger Style Challenge, it seemed pretty much a given to throw a girly get together centered around food, champagne, and good friends. Because, you know, I love to entertain my home girls, eat, and drink a lot of champagne. And my new Hampton Bay Edington dining set from Home Depot really helps me do all of these awesome things. Shout out to my Home Depot peeps!!

** Tell me you don’t now need a picnic basket and champagne tote?!! **
Get the tabletop look:

I would love it if you would head over to see my “Classically Chic” feature on Home Depot’s site to see all the pictures and hear more about the collaboration!!

These pretty images are by Gray Benko Photography. Thanks Gray!

This post brought to you by Home Depot. All opinions, as always, are 100% my own.

Dear Friday,

I’m so glad you’re here. It’s been a long and emotional week. And I’m ready to escape. So I’m off to Dallas for a quick trip with some bloggy friends. I would love for you to follow along on my instagram feed.

PS – there was a big response to the bedding post I shared last week about upgrading your bedding in steps when you can. I thought that many of you would like to know that Serena & Lily is offering 25% off all bedding right now. That’s, like, huge. Have you played with their bedding builder tool? Such fun to layer all the different pieces together! I just put together this one in like 3 minutes.

I still want to tweak it, but really liking so far. Go mix and play! Just remember, you don’t have to buy up every piece all at once!

I had some girlfriends over for porch drinks and s’more dip last night and neglected to work up a blog post for you all. BUT, I’ve been meaning to discuss Kate Hudson & Ann Taylor’s partnership with you all. Considering she is one of the cutest beings to ever walk this earth, saying that she’s helping their image is an understatement. Not that I’m not about Ann Taylor, b/c the past few season’s have definitely had some pieces that I love. I just think that their partnership with Kate has really helped get them noticed.

They’re also one of those stores that I would have a hard time buying from if there wasn’t an incentive, because they’re ALWAYS offering discounts (and indeed they are right now too – 30% to 40% off full and sale price).
Anyway, I do really love that top she’s wearing. But would I have ever even seen it if Kate hadn’t worn it? Not so sure. And the way Ann Taylor has it shown on their website isn’t nearly as cute as the way Kate made it look… Just saying. Probably would have passed.
I know, I know. Deep thoughts for a Thursday. But perhaps I lightened the mood a tad from all the sadness in the news as of late.

That’s how that song goes, right? Errrrr. Well today I’m talking about cross body bags, the fashion world’s latest obsession. This is NOT a fannie pack, people. I ran into my friend Kate Stevenson (yes, the famous artist) at Hampden Clothing over the weekend and she looked SO chic wearing a little cross body bag. She says it makes her life so much easier to throw big stuff in a diaper bag below the stroller and then have the little bag swinging over her so she can reach little necessities easily. And you know what, I believe her. Because famous artists don’t lie. Except maybe creepy ones who are trying to get in your pants. But that’s not Kate. Duh.

Aaaanyway, it doesn’t take much to motivate me to get my shop on (I saw that eye roll), so considering that Shopbop is still currently running their Friends & Family promo and offering 20% off your purchase (using code “WEAREFAMILY13“), it seems like right now is the perfect time to indulge your summer wardrobe.

Here are my favorite of favorites.

I envision these being perfectly swung across your body by day and hanging from your shoulder by night.

Images up top of Song of Style, Man Repeller, and Diane Kruger from Coachella street styles.
