A week or two ago, heck I can’t keep track of time anymore, Charleston Revision’s threw a party welcoming Society Social to the shop floor. This is so big and fun and awesome for Charleston to have a Society Social showroom here. I’ve been a fan since the beginning – I have my own SS bar cart and have contributed to the SS Magalog. So it was a lot of fun to have my bud Roxy (Society Social’s creator) in town.

Roxy’s furniture line celebrates living sparkly, in Roxy’s words, and is colorful and fun. I could fill my entire house with her stuff and be very happy. I want the consoles, the sofas, the end tables, the chairs, beds. Might as well throw another bar cart on the wish list for the porch, too.

Pictured below is Roxy with Revision’s owner Laurie. Aren’t they adorable?

Before the party Roxy asked me to help her find something to wear to the event. I was happy to, of course, and I think this One Naven Siren dress in pink could not be any more perfect for her! Doesn’t she look amazing? I gasped when I got to see it on her in person. If you’d like one yourself you’ll be happy to hear that it also comes in blue and green. And I think it looks absolutely perfect with the Loren Hope Alex necklace.

Welcome to Charleston, Society Social. So happy to have you here!

My closet is stocked with comfortable, swingy tops that I can throw on mindlessly with leggings or jeans. They’re my favorite thing to wear during the day with the kids or shopping or whatever. This navy stripe top has become new favorite. It has the perfect amount of bouncey softness.

And oh yeah, there are my favorite booties again – the Jeffrey Campbell rosmore booties. So comfy and cute. And there’s just something about light washed broken in jeans. I snatched up this Frame Denim pair while I was in NYC a couple of weeks ago.

  • Piperlime’s offering 20% off the entire site. Did you see that Jessica Alba is their new guest editor. She’s adorable. Shop her favorites right here and don’t forget to take 20% off with the code “THANKYOU“. I really love this sweater!
  • Gaby’s post on packing wisely set off a lightbulb for me. OF COURSE it makes sense to pack with a color palette in mind – makes mixing and matching so much easier. You really should see the post – it’s fabulous.
  • Jimmy Kimmel interviewed “fashion enthusiasts” outside of Lincoln Center at NYFW and asked questions about made up designers and trends. I was crying laughing by the end of the video. You have to see it.
  • The Generation Y Yuppies evidentally feel entitled and here’s why. Such an interesting read.
  • This Wholefoods Survival article had me nearly peeing my pants laughing. So true.
  • I’m really, really stoked to be included in StyleList’s top 10 OMG-Worthy Street Style Shots. I’m in good company, too.
  • And speaking of StyleList, they just uploaded the full video (just 1.5 minutes) of the NY Runway Event Inspiration that I participated in – catch my child voiced interview here.
