We had so much fun at the Look Linger Love + Land of Nod party last week! I wish I could have had you all over because it was such a fun and magical night. We gave away every last toy under the tree, around 30 or so of LON’s favorites from their collection –  a tent, sleeping bags, a doll house, a rocker, dolls… Such amazing toys. Lauren from LON flew down to help me with the party and we had a blast putting it all together.

We set up a little craft area using LON’s paper flower kits.

We sipped champagne and had Callie’s Biscuits and pimento cheese along with Grey Ghost Bakery’s cookies! Both local favorites of mine.

And of course placed lots of holiday orders…

And don’t you know that Lilly couldn’t resist joining us for a few minutes to demonstrate her most favorite thing.

I’ve written about my undergarment struggles plenty because I know it’s a common problem for many. So I have to share my new bra and underwear obsessions with you. And let me just say that I love them more than any that have come before them!! More so, I’m thrilled to say that they’re from Victoria’s Secret, who has redeemed themselves in my eyes (I haven’t always had a lot of luck there).

So there are two important factors for me when choosing a bra: they need to be supportive and slimming. And I’ve found the most amazing bra – the Unlined Lace Demi Bra. This bra is the bomb. Period. It’s unlined lace, therefore there is no added padding to make me look bigger than I am. The underwire helps support me without pushing me up unnaturally. But it’s really the strong lace that is key because it keeps it’s shape. I swear you will love it. It’s just simple and pretty goodness.

Next… my new underwear obsession. News flash, I hate thongs. I’m a full back sister kind of gal (fist pumps Amber). But I also hate underwear lines – there is nothing good about them. I think I’ve tried a million different pairs of seamless underwear and have always been let down big time. Until recently… my underwear drawer is now stocked full of the Flawless Hiphugger Panty . I am willing to guarantee (please note that my guarantee means absolutely nothing) that these undies will be invisible under every single item of clothing in your closet. They are magic. MAGIC. Order twenty.

There you are.

Let’s shake things up a bit at your next holiday party with a LBJ, the little black jumpsuit. Completely on trend but not too trendy, festive, and a little bit warmer than a dress! Throw on some stilettos, maybe a jacket, great jewels, and a clutch and it’s holiday perfection.

Addison faux-wrap jumpsuit (also available here)

Otte wide leg jumpsuit

d.Ra tie waist jumpsuit

Parker beaded silk jumpsuit (also available here)

These are all my favorites – but the d.Ra jumpsuit is such a great price and looks really easy to wear.

And PS, how fun would that beaded jumpsuit be for New Year’s Eve???

Wow I’m getting this up late. It’s been a busy week over here and I’m ready for the weekend. Last night’s Land of Nod party was seriously so perfect. I mean, I think it was the best home shopping party ever, my opinion of course ha! I’ll have pictures to show you next week!

The Lizzie Fortunato sisters are in town this weekend and I’m looking forward to dinner with them and Hampden Clothing at one of my favorite restaurants tonight – I’m sure I’ll be instagramming. Browse their new amazing things here – I don’t know what I’m buying yet but I’m definitely getting myself something. I think I’m in between this clutch and this clutch. But woweee I feel like I need this necklace too.

Also, another one of my favorite stores just launched a 30% off any order promo – I’m sorry but that’s just plain good, it’s like Black Friday come early. Use code “GIVETHX” at check out and pick up some good stuff! Check out this snakeskin moon bag they just got in – instant classic that you’ll still want to carry ten+ years from now. And this is pretty much the coziest yet chicest sweater that there ever was. Have fun looking around their gorgeous site!

I mean, the party dresses popping up in time for holiday festivities is astonishing. How does one pick? There are so many pretty ones. And there’s still time to get it delivered in time for this weekend!

That Shona Joy color block dress up there is my favorite – reminds  me of the Tibi dress that came out in spring of ’12 that was so popular. I wore it to my 30th birthday party and it’s STILL a little tight on me. But that Shona Jay dress, well it’s nice and flawy and would be perfect for now or summer! Love that. Also that yellow number up there reminds me of Kate Hudson in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. She was a pure goddess in that scene.

If you need heels I highly suggest these. If you need booties to edge up your look a little go with these! Also worth noting, Anthropologie’s holiday dresses are KILLING IT this season. I especially love this one and this one. Oh, and if you need a cute and festive jacket check out this one!
