New things. All neutral.

So those sheer shirttail sweaters are pretty freaking cool and would be an easy way to look put together. And that black poncho is serious awesome. Way to go Club Monaco. The eyelash sweater would be amazing under a blazer, or with anything. And those LR black and white pumps are on my list for sure.

Last week Lilly, Fletcher and I spent the morning downtown getting hair cuts, donuts, and visiting the Children’s Museum. Lilly wore her new Old Navy white sundress because she likes the way it poofs out when she twirls. And well, you just gotta twirl when you’re downtown.

This is now our second pair of Old Navy’s glittery sandals! Lilly’s a big fan because she can put them on quickly (I like that too) and they stay on her feet easily. Of course, they sparkle and come in different colors, too.

She takes fish faces seriously. Shop Old Navy’s cute collection right here. I really love this tiered lace white dress, too.

Photography by Gray Benko. This post was brought to you by Old Navy. All opinions, as always, are my own.

This morning marks the launch of my friend Way Way Allen’s debut & pop up shop at Furbish! I’m so happy to see this happen and SO excited about the pieces – they’re incredible.

Last week I popped into Way Way’s studio to say hi and snapped this pretty picture of her working.

Our family has been busy enjoying summer. I can’t believe it’s already near August. I mean!! Where did it go? So I thought I’d share another life lately post. This isn’t even close to a complete picture, but here are a few snaps on my phone in random order.

My friend Mackenzie sent over some pretty new office supplies from her Design Darling shop. I especially love these periwinkle pens, the ksny planners, and that cute foil print.

In love with my Ladies at the Beach print.

Y’all know I’m a long time devoted fan of Callie’s Biscuits. Well they opened up a restaurant downtown, called Little Hot Biscuit, and it’s amazing.

My kids are obsessed (beyond obsessed) with their Chomp Stix. If you have kids I can’t recommend them enough.

Working on a little project for Southern Living and here are a couple of sneak peeks!

Some pretty Charleston scenes…

The kids doing what they do best, jumping. I need to replace those glass toppers on the coffee tables. Thinking maybe some square trays would be good.

My friend Sidney’s shop Eclectic Charleston looking gorgeous as always.

Some pool time with the kids.

I stopped by the Troubadour showroom for their 50% off sale. Crazy good deals – online too! Use “Spring50” at checkout.

Flowers for a friend beautifully designed by Out Of Hand.

I found a look alike to these sandals by Steve Madden. 3 color options.

Loving these glasses and pitcher that I found at Open Door Shop.

The kids got their hair cut last week. Lilly loves to go downtown and do this, it’s so sweet. Afterwards we went for donuts, to the museum, and then to Taco Boy for lunch.

Two weekends ago Josh and I went to Union Provisions with some friends. It’s beautiful inside. I didn’t have anything that blew me away but I did enjoy everything I ate. It’s tapas style. Def worth stopping in though, I think lunch would be great with all the light pouring in.

I co-hosted a baby shower last night for a good friend who’s having a boy. I wore this Steven Alan dress, very similar one right here on sale for $70. Also, similar ladder right here. I have two of these in my house and love them for throws, towels…

Happy Monday!

I can’t help but share these pretty rugs that are on serious sale (50%+ off).

Really pretty rugs that you don’t see everywhere. Okay, you might see them a lot online, but you probably don’t see them in all your friends’ homes. Shop them all here.

And the Nordstrom Anniversary sale isn’t just for the fashion addicts… I found some cute home things, too. Truth be told it’s mostly towels, sheets/bedding, and candles. But maybe it’s time for a refresh?

We have a chalkboard like this and the kids love it. I like using it for parties, as well. This one on here is also magnetic. And how cute is that Vera Wang pom pom pillow? If you could use an extra or fresh set of sheets this classic set is beautiful and on major sale. And I know it’s early, but you could totally split up those Voluspa candles and gift them this holiday season as hostess gifts.
