Okay, this post is going to be a little all over the place but I have a lot I want to share and putting it into one big pretty collage just wouldn’t be best…  So… here you go, some fun finds for the home.

Pottery Barn Kids is BRINGIN’ it. I mean, I want these plush Delaney rugs in my family room, office, hall, whatever!

Continuing with PB kids… their collection of roman shades is for real. Forget custom – these are fabulous and there are a ton of colors.

Moving along to Land of Nod – these gold & white shelves are insane.

See? Buy ’em before they sell out.

And OKL is having yet another crazy cool sale – this time it’s focused on the artisinal bedroom. Many of the items have different fabric options and the fabrics are COOL.

Happy Monday!

I made it home from L.A. last night and it feels good to be home! It was such a great girl trip and I’m glad I made the effort to do it. I went out with Sally Benedict & Jane Pope to visit with our friend Marysia Reeves. We stayed at the Chateau Marmont (what a wonderful hotel!) the first two nights and at Marysia’s the last night. Such a fun visit!!

We were sorta like a Marysia Swim campaign at the pool on Friday and Saturday.

I think my favorite restaurant we ate at was Gjelinas in Venice Beach.

I brought my laptop to the pool Friday so that I could do some fast work. Here’s my Alesya bag!

Fit in some shopping, I didn’t buy much on the trip but a few things for the kids.

Our room at the Chateau was insane – it was suite that overlooked the garden patio. So fun. Russell Simmons is in this photo somewhere down there.

Sunday morning when we woke up at Marysia’s her little girl Elle got a painting lesson from Sally.

Great trip! Okay here are some more random things from life lately…. I’m working on another fun project with GDC! Love checking out their fabric department.

Oh this is fun… so AOL came to Charleston and we shot 5 videos! A few are in my home, cooking and stuff – this picture here is from the shopping guide video! Can’t wait to see how these turn out and share.

I’ve been trying to drink more green juice during the week. Not a cleanse or anything but I substitute some breakfasts. I’m really liking it.

That’s all! Happy Monday.

Happy Friday! Hate to get this post up so late today, but it’s coming to you from LA! Having a girl’s weekend! I wanted to pop in real fast to tell you about my friend Lulie’s new tablescape paintings debut! Earlier this week she hosted a fun little dinner at Mixson to celebrate the new collection!

Neve & Hawk… such a cute kids line made by Kris & Bob Galmarini. They started their line here in Charleston, maybe some of you remember talking about them during Charleston fashion week. They’re now in California and are doing, well, awesome. How cute is this little bustle dress they sent over for Lilly?

Anyone catch Lilly’s feet up there? Whoa.

Neve & Hawk is simple and comfortable. This convertible bustle dress can also be worn as a skirt and adjusts for sizing in the back. Super cool. We are big fans here. Expect to see more ahead.

This little white pom pom dress is 50% off right now making it just $70. It’s super easy to just throw on for lunch or errands or whatever. Will be cute with a blazer thrown over it, too.

I’m reeeeally into pink coats right now and am adoring this funnel neck Ted Baker version. I love the flared skirt, cinched waist, and dramatic neck – so feminine.

And really, Ted Baker’s line is ultimately so feminine. The silhouettes, colors, patterns, embellishments… Here are a few of my favorite pieces from the current collection.

My top picks – this pleated top in either colors, the camel cape, and the funnel neck coat (it comes in black, too).

PS, in case you missed it yesterday afternoon I posted about the fun style project I’ve been working on with Southern Living. 10 Charleston friends and their style. I’m really proud of it and would love to hear what you think!

This post was brought to you by Nordstrom. All opinions, as always, are my own.
