Oh hey! I’m back. It may not seem like I was gone since I had two posts scheduled to post on Monday and Tuesday, but I’ve taken a week off from the blog to be with my family. We spent Christmas in Kentucky and Indiana, then flew to Disney World for 4 nights. SO MUCH FUN. We were there with family so the kids had the best time playing with cousins and showing off for grandparents and uncles that they don’t get to see everyday. These kids have had pretty much everything go their way the past week so now it’s time for detox. Whew.

On to shopping news, Shopbop is offering 25% off sale items! I found a whole bunch of great things, here are a few neutral highlights.

Those black Alexander Wang pumps!! I have them in grey and wear them all the time. If they had these in my size I’d scoop them up in a skinny minute. Also I have that grey tunic and it can be worn as a dress, too. Runs a little large. And I know I talk about the Rebecca Minkoff satchels a lot but they’re such a pretty bag and that cognac color is gorgeous and could be carried all the time. That black asymmetric sweater is quite forgiving and the cream color is on sale as well, and isn’t that plaid Mackage coat pretty?

A fun activity is click over to Shopbop’s Designer Boutique to peruse those sale items. Most of that stuff is already 70% off so with the additional 25% it makes for some great finds.

Isn’t that floral top so pretty? It comes in a blue version as well. And the little rock stud flats are too cute, too.

In honor of being in Florida right now I thought I’d share this pretty tunic from Sail to Sable’s new Resort Collection. White linen is always good in my book, especially when paired with this lovely shade of green.

It was the windiest day when we shot these pictures and Gray told me I should name this post Easy Breezy tunic, ha! But for real.

This tunic also comes in a pretty dress version that I could see myself getting a lot of wear out of. Another favorite is this stripe dress. I love the colors they paired together. Check out Sail to Sable’s new Resort Collection right here.

Merry Christmas (Eve). We are in Kentucky and it’s so nice to be here with family. We’ll spend a couple of days up here and in Indiana and then on Friday we are flying to Disney World. The kids are on cloud nine. It’ll be their first legit time (Lilly visited Disneyland in California for one long morning when she was just under 3).

Once again I didn’t manage to get my act together to get holiday cards out (you see what happened was, is that I don’t have anyone’s addresses organized). BUT if I would’ve gotten one out it probably would have looked something like this (found here).

Merry Christmas to each of you. I have some posts planned so don’t go too far this holiday break. Also, thanks to Gray for capturing this typical scene during our mountain weekend earlier this year.

Happy Tuesday. A little bit of my life lately in no particular order…

December has been a very busy month filled with holiday meals and parties, activities with the kids, holiday shopping, and what has felt like everything else under the sun. Here’s a snap of the lovely Husk restaurant here in Charleston where one of my holiday brunches with girlfriends took place.

I mentioned I was ordering some of these pieces from the Furbish pop up. Here’s one up in the kids’ playroom.

The kids chilling at the Christmas parade with their buddy Riley.

So excited to wear this dress on my upcoming Bahamas trip.

Lilly in one of her new favorite dresses after her Christmas program at school.

Some accessories in heavy rotation this time of year. These shoes.

Josh and his yearly Nov/Dec beard. This was taken at our friends Olivia & Walker’s fun holiday party.

Troll the ancient yule tide carol, fa la la la la la la la la… Sorry I’m so lame.

Carousel shot at the Festival of Lights with the kids.

My friend Ann’s pretty picture that she painted hanging in her family room, aren’t the colors pretty together?

My new metallic tassel loafers that I am ob-sessed with. They have little cut outs on the side.

Merry Merry. It’s almost here.

I can’t believe that Christmas is this week, followed by New Years Eve. Where did 2014 go? If you’re looking for a dress to celebrate the new year in here are a few of my favorites from around the web.

Bottom Row:  1  |  2  |  3  |  4  |  5

That beaded black 20’s style dress is on sale and the back is really fun. And how amazing is that red bow back dress? Love an excuse to buy a new girly dress.

If you’re looking for a budget friendly heel I’m obsessed with these pointy toed ones!
