Fall Trends You Will Love

Good Monday morning! I’ve pulled together some of my favorite fall & winter trends today – from chunky knits to patent leather to sequins…

yellow dress, black sweater, grey dress, sequin bag, purple coat,

blue bag, black coat, plaid dress, polka dot dress, nude pumps, white scarf

 

I’ll definitely be sporting some patent leather this season. I’m really loving all of the patent heels – especially this nude pair – you know they’ll be comfortable(ish) thanks to that block heel. I’m also excited about oversized knitted cardigans, how great is this brown one? And yes please to that stripe sweater – really into the ruffles on the cuffs and neck.

It’s almost the weekend and to celebrate I’m sharing some of my favorite new finds from around the web – because surely I’m not the only one who gets the shopping itch as the weekend looms…?

Fall Trend I Love: The Denim Jacket

You all know that I’m a big dress lover so it’s likely no big surprise that I LOVE to throw a jacket over my dresses to get more mileage out of them in the cooler months. And the denim jacket is my most favorite topper of all! I wore this outfit one night in NYC this past weekend.

 

 

Wearing:

denim jacket, navy polka dot dress, valentino bag, gumball earrings

 

In addition to the one I’m wearing above I also picked up this pearl adorned denim jacket, too. It makes a fun, feminine statement :)

Halloween Costume Ideas For Women

Half the fun of October is dreaming up halloween ideas, am I right? With just 2 weeks to go, here are 5 fun costumes to give a try!

 

Holly Golightly:

The cutest satin sleep mask set from Etsy with this simple white tux shirt and then bam, you’re Holly Golightly.

 

 

Troop Beverly Hills:

One of my  MOST favorite childhood movies. Dress up in some khaki and green and don’t forget the Troop Beverly Hills pins. I want to do this one just so I can pass out these stickers.

 

 

Disco Roller Skaters:

You KNOW that you’ve wanted an excuse to buy a pair of candy colored roller skates. Pair with sequins or some pretty sweet track shorts.

 

 

Simply Irresistible Music Video:

All you need is a tight black dress, a white guitar, and the perfect red lipstick! Maybe change your ring tone for the night, too?

 

 

80’s Aerobics:

Fun fact, when I was a kid my mom was an aerobics teacher. I’ll never forget her practicing and mixing dance tapes in our family room. And her geer!! Check out this outfit! Don’t forget the leg warmers.
